Reflexology

(Face, Foot, Hand)

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a gentle, holistic therapy that works with specific reflex points on the feet, hands and face, which correspond to different organs, systems and areas of the body. Through skilled touch and pressure, reflexology encourages deep relaxation, supports circulation, and helps the body restore balance naturally.

Each area contains a complete reflex map of the body, meaning foot, hand and facial reflexology can all support wellbeing on a physical, emotional and energetic level. The approach used will depend on your individual needs, comfort and preferences.

Foot Reflexology is deeply grounding and is often chosen to support overall wellbeing and relaxation.

Hand Reflexology is gentle and accessible, making it ideal for those who prefer to remain seated, have foot sensitivity, or require a more adaptable treatment.

Facial Reflexology works with delicate reflex points on the face to calm the nervous system, encourage healthy circulation and promote a sense of renewal. Many clients enjoy the added benefits of improved skin tone, radiance and relaxation.

Who May Benefit from Reflexology?

Reflexology is suitable for all ages, from babies and children to adults and older people. It can be adapted to support a wide range of needs and is particularly beneficial during times of stress, change, recovery or when life simply feels overwhelming.

Many people choose reflexology to support:

• Stress, anxiety and emotional wellbeing
• Sleep difficulties and fatigue
• Headaches and migraines
• Back, neck and shoulder tension
• Digestive concerns
• Hormonal health, fertility, pregnancy and menopause
• Sinus and respiratory issues
• Chronic pain and musculoskeletal discomfort
• Circulation and lymphatic support
• General wellbeing and relaxation

Reflexology is not a substitute for medical care, but it can be a valuable complementary therapy that supports overall health and wellbeing.

What Happens During a Treatment?

Your first appointment includes a consultation and health questionnaire, allowing your treatment to be tailored to your individual needs.

For foot reflexology, you will remove your shoes before relaxing comfortably on the treatment couch. Hand reflexology can be received seated or lying down, while facial reflexology is carried out fully clothed on the treatment couch, following a gentle facial cleanse.

Each session is personalised and unhurried, providing a calm space to rest, relax and receive the treatment best suited to you.

For ongoing support, a course of treatments may sometimes be recommended, followed by maintenance sessions as needed.

How Will I Feel Afterwards?

Most people leave feeling deeply relaxed, calmer and more balanced. Many notice improved sleep, reduced tension and a greater sense of wellbeing. Following facial reflexology, some clients also report a brighter, more refreshed appearance.

Occasionally, temporary responses such as tiredness or emotional release may occur as the body processes the treatment. These effects are usually short-lived.

After your session, it is recommended that you drink plenty of water, rest if possible, and notice how your body responds over the following days.

Bergman Method Facial Reflexology

The Bergman Method is a specialised facial reflexology technique that combines traditional reflexology with Native American techniques and Asian body maps. Gentle stimulation of reflex points on the face helps support the nervous system, encourage healthy circulation and lymphatic flow, release facial tension, and promote natural skin vitality.

Clients often choose this treatment for its deeply relaxing effects, while also enjoying benefits such as improved skin tone, radiance and a greater sense of wellbeing.
